Job Overview

A skilled scheduler is required to provide planning and master scheduling services to major clients across various industries.

This role involves applying risk management techniques, including risk register development, contingency planning, and contingency management.

  • The ideal candidate will collaborate with the Project Services Manager to deliver resource management frameworks, processes, procedures, and tools.
  • They will drive project compliance and governance standards for best practice requirements.
  • Project lifecycles will be managed, working with management and other members of the project team to maintain and achieve budgets within a tight timeframe.
  • Cost control improvements, cost breakdowns, and commercial oversight will be recommended to projects in collaboration with the wider Project Controls team.
About the Role

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrated experience in Project Controls as a scheduler/planner on major multi-disciplinary projects is essential.
  • Experience with gated and milestone projects, variations, costs, and managing risk, including developing contingency allowances and contingency management, schedule management, framework standards, processes, and tools is necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across all levels of the organisation are crucial.
  • Tertiary qualifications in an Engineering, Project Management, or related construction discipline or considerable experience are required.
  • Detailed knowledge of industry best practices in project controls, including estimating, cost control, and planning/scheduling, for engineering services-type projects is vital.
