Job Description

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing customers in and around Townsville City. You will need strong mechanical aptitude, good diagnostic and repair skills, excellent customer service skills, and good time management skills to succeed.

You will also require:

  • Commitment to maintaining safe work practices
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation
  • Relevant trade qualification (Forklift Mechanic, Automotive Electrician/Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle, Plant, Diesel Mechanic)
Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Servicing customers in and around Townsville City
  • Diagnosing and repairing complex technical issues
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current driver's license
  • Relevant trade qualification (non-forklift industry considered)
  • Possess good problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Supply your own comprehensive personal hand tool kit
  • Previous experience in a similar role in an associated industry
  • Willingness to participate in training programs to increase your product knowledge and understanding of procedures, safe work practices, statutory responsibilities, and licensing requirements.
