Initially, you will spend your time as an Aerospace Worker undergoing training with Aviation Australia in Townsville to complete a Diploma in Aeroskills - Mechanical.
This will give you the necessary underpinning skills and qualifications before embarking on an exciting career as an Apache Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.

We are chasing enthusiastic, committed and driven individuals who, as an Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, will collaborate with Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and other aerospace professionals to perform a variety of maintenance and modification activities, including but not limited to: Preparing aircraft for maintenance, repair, or modification.
Conducting inspections, special servicings, and rectifications.
Conduct aircraft flight-line handling duties.
Performing post-maintenance testing to ensure mission readiness.
Managing ground support equipment and adhering to technical instructions and maintenance documentation.
Reporting to the Maintenance Operations Manager and contributing effectively within a team.
Safety and health are our top priorities, and you will be expected to uphold these standards by following our Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) policies and procedures.

Australian citizenship, with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Prior certificates in aeroskills or aviation experience are advantageous but not mandatory.
