Heavy Diesel Fitter Opportunity

We are seeking skilled professionals to fill the role of Heavy Diesel Fitter in our Western Australia maintenance hub. The successful candidate will work a Monday to Friday roster.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform servicing, repair and maintenance of large scale mining equipment as directed;
  • Complete general maintenance, breakdowns, services and component change outs to a high standard;
  • Source technical information from relevant reference manuals and OEM systems;
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards and conduct required inspections;
  • Deal with external clients to ensure machine availability/reliability.

About You

  • Cert III in Heavy Diesel Fitting or equivalent qualification;
  • Post-trade experience working in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry;
  • Experience in General Maintenance, Breakdowns, Component Change Outs and Servicing of Heavy Earth Moving Equipment;
  • Strong diagnostic skills and strong interpersonal skills.
