Senior Consultant Physician Job Description

The Senior Consultant Physician / Clinical Lead - Geriatric Medicine Specialist will provide expert clinical care and specialist services to patients in the area of responsibility, leading the Geriatric Medicine Team.

  • This position involves full clinical responsibility for patients and advancing leadership roles as well as engaging with Digital Health and Virtual Care developments.

We are seeking an experienced clinician to join our team at Bendigo Health. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to patient care, and a passion for delivering high-quality healthcare services.

  • The successful applicant must provide evidence of their full immunisation record as part of the onboarding process.

Bendigo Health is a major regional hospital providing world-class healthcare to central and northern Victoria. The GEM Units and Acute Geriatric Medicine Service are situated in the new state-of-the-art hospital.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree-qualified medical professional with experience in geriatric medicine.
