Opportunity for a Geriatrician in Clinical Lead Role

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Consultant Physician in Geriatric Medicine to take on the role of Senior Consultant Clinical Lead within our dynamic team. The position involves providing expert clinical care leadership in Geriatric Medicine, assuming full clinical responsibility for patients and leading a multidisciplinary medical team.

Responsibilities include: supporting Advanced Trainees, contributing to medical education, assisting the Clinical Director with unit management, and advancing leadership and management skills while engaging with cutting-edge Digital Health Virtual Care initiatives across the region.

Essential Criteria
  • Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians RACP in Geriatric Medicine or international equivalent with eligibility for AHPRA registration.
  • Demonstrated clinical expertise and leadership in Geriatric Medicine.
  • Experience supervising trainees and contributing to medical education.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and service improvement.
