We are seeking a Senior Consultant Physician to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a clinical leadership role and make a significant contribution to the health and wellbeing of our community.

The successful candidate will have full clinical responsibility for patients and will be the clinical team lead. They will provide expert clinical care and specialist service to patients in their area of responsibility, medical leadership to the Geriatric Medicine Team, support to Advanced Trainees and broader Geriatric medical education, and assist the Clinical Director with management of the unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and specialist services to patients in the Geriatric Medicine Unit
  • Lead the Geriatric Medicine Team and provide guidance and support to staff
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new services
Requirements
  • Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine or equivalent experience
  • Advanced skills and knowledge in geriatric medicine
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
