Job Description

You will be responsible for providing expert medical assessment and management of patients requesting access to Voluntary Assisted Dying. This role will involve working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that patients receive the highest standard of care.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • MBBS or equivalent qualification;
  • Fellowship of a recognised Australasian Specialist College or recognition as a specialist by the Medical Board of Australia;
  • Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia;
  • Demonstrated strong communication and teamwork skills;
  • Sound knowledge of clinical quality and patient safety;
  • Commitment to continuing self-education and professional development.
