Childcare Educator

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Childcare Educator to join our centre.

As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with children from birth to 5 years old in a nurturing and supportive environment. You will be responsible for planning and implementing educational programs that cater to the needs of our diverse student population.

  • Developing and implementing curriculum plans that meet the requirements of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a sense of community within the centre
  • Working collaboratively with other educators to provide high-quality care and education to our students
  • Providing feedback to parents and caregivers on their child's progress and development

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong passion for early childhood education. They will also be committed to ongoing professional development and be enthusiastic about embracing new ideas and approaches.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, implement and evaluate educational programs for children from birth to 5 years old
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
  • Contribute to the development of a collaborative and inclusive learning environment
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance knowledge and skills in early childhood education

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Australian Working Rights
  • Excellent personal presentation and communication skills
