Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Teaching Assistant. In this role, you will work closely with our trained educators to deliver high-quality early childhood education programs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child development and learning principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the delivery of educational programs and activities;
  • Assisting with the supervision of children during indoor and outdoor activities;
  • Helping to maintain a safe and healthy environment;
  • Providing individualized support to children with additional needs;
  • Communicating effectively with families and colleagues to ensure a smooth transition of care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent);
  • Experience working with young children in an early childhood setting;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues;
  • Basic first aid and CPR skills.
