Strategist Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Connections Strategist to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with a solid background in comms and connections strategy who wants to explore brand and creative strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bring consumer insights and behaviours to life through visualising consumer journey maps, providing actionable data for colleagues and presentations.
  • Develop insightful connections strategies and bring innovative thinking to creative strategy.
Research and Data Expertise:
  • Apply understanding of first-party data and audience segmentation for data briefs, contact strategies, and message matrices.
  • Interpret and visualise data for presentations and reports.
Social and Digital Expertise:
  • Excellent understanding of social and digital comms and media landscape, including opportunities on Meta, Google, TikTok, AI, gaming etc.
Brand Strategy Development:
  • Support the development of disruptive brand and campaign strategies for business growth and cultural impact.
Cultural Insights:
  • Stay ahead of cultural trends and consumer behaviours, identifying opportunities for culturally relevant campaigns.
Thought Leadership:
  • Contribute to industry discussions and publications, positioning TBWA as a leader in innovation and creativity.

This role requires a solid understanding of comms and connections strategy, comfort with numbers, analytical and creative thinking, awareness of cultural trends, and knowledge of paid, owned, earned channels. We seek applicants with 1-2 years' experience in similar roles within creative or media agencies.

A successful candidate will be able to balance analysis and creativity, possessing excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues. They will also have a strong understanding of consumer behaviour, market trends, and emerging technologies.
