Job Title:

Infrastructure Manager

About the Role:

This is a key leadership position responsible for the delivery of high-quality infrastructure and asset management outcomes. Reporting to the Director Infrastructure & Environmental Sustainability, you will lead strategic asset management planning, oversee the Capital Works program, and ensure the effective application of engineering excellence in project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers to deliver infrastructure projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
  • Act as the asset owner for multiple asset classes, ensuring compliance with relevant asset management policies, strategies, and plans.
  • Manage the development and implementation of Asset Management Systems and Maintenance Management Systems.
  • Oversee complex civil infrastructure designs and provide authoritative technical advice to stakeholders and the community.
  • Deliver effective project management including procurement, contract administration, and budget control.
  • Engage in high-level consultation and liaison with residents, government agencies, contractors, and elected officials.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering and Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status with Engineers Australia.
  • Demonstrated experience in civil and building design, asset management, and delivery of civil works programs.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing professional engineering teams.
  • Extensive project management experience with proven budgetary and contractual oversight.
  • High-level communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate with diverse stakeholders.
