Job Title: Civil Infrastructure Design Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Infrastructure Design Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure design group, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality designs for civil infrastructure projects.

Your primary focus will be on designing and drafting construction plans, including temporary works, material zones, and earthworks. You will also be involved in checking client models using 12D and AutoCAD software, developing tender prices, and refining windfarm haul roads and lay-down areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and draft construction plans, including temporary works, material zones, and earthworks
  • Check client models using 12D and AutoCAD software
  • Develop tender prices and refine windfarm haul roads and lay-down areas
  • Collaborate with the estimating team to deliver high-quality designs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Past experience as a Civil Design Drafter/Civil Designer
  • Experience in infrastructure (road, stormwater, sewer and water) design
  • TMR roads and highways experience would be highly beneficial
  • Experience in earthworks modelling and erosion control
  • AutoCAD, Civil 3D/12D, PC drain and PC sewer software exposure
  • High attention to detail, analytical ability, and conceptual ability
  • Superior communication skills, particularly listening skills to understand and conceptualise the design
