About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Gardening and Maintenance team at Helping Hand, a leading provider of aged care in communities across South Australia.

As a Gardener, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality gardening services to meet the needs of our clients living in their own homes and across our retirement village spaces.

  • Provide a range of gardening services including mowing, edging, snipping, weeding, mulching, planting, pruning, sweeping, litter collection, and other gardening tasks as required.
  • Work closely with clients to provide great customer service and ensure their needs are met.

What You'll Bring

  • At least 1 year of gardening / nursery experience.
  • A sound knowledge and experience of using gardening equipment.
  • The ability to work independently under limited supervision.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or be willing to obtain one).
  • Current Australian driver licence.
  • Have a valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain one.
  • A registered, well-maintained, reliable, and insured vehicle.
  • Good communication skills, including the ability to speak and write clearly and accurately.
  • Ability to operate smartphones and apps (such as Microsoft Outlook).
