About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at Team Global Express. As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing general servicing tasks on heavy vehicles, including Mercedes Benz, Kenworth, Volvo, Isuzu, Fuso, Hino, and Freightliner.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, pneumatic, diesel systems, auto electrical, air conditioning, and hydraulic repairs in accordance with job cards.
- Complete general servicing tasks on heavy vehicles, including routine maintenance and repairs.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
- Develop and maintain a high level of technical knowledge and skills to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of heavy vehicle mechanics and repair.
- Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic, minimum certificate III.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Previous diagnostic investigation experience, with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to maintain a high level of safety and adhere to HSE policies and procedures.
