Job Title: Food Science and Technology Specialist

Responsibilities:

  4. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment within the Agriculture and Food Discipline.
  5. Apply health and safety standards in practical classes and supervise research students as required.
  6. Promote the Discipline through service, leadership, and outreach activities.
Requirements:
  • PhD in Food Science and Technology or related field, with at least two years of postdoctoral research experience.
  • High-level teaching skills, with a demonstrated reflective approach to teaching delivery.
  • Strong understanding of pedagogical theory and contemporary educational practice relevant to the discipline.
  • Ability to undertake unit coordination and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to a collegial and supportive working environment.
