About SmartPlay Early Learners

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Educator to join our team at SmartPlay Early Learners in Caboolture. As a Lead Educator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a play-based, child-directed educational program that focuses on the School Aged Care program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the educational program in accordance with the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes the holistic development of each child.
  • Build strong relationships with families and communicate effectively with them about their child's progress.
  • Collaborate with other educators to ensure a consistent and high-quality educational program.

Requirements

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education or 50% towards completion.
  • At least 1 year's experience in a lead role in a centre.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.
  • Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, CPR and Asthma certification.
  • Current paid Working with Children's Check.
  • Experience and knowledge of NQF, NQS and the EYLF.
  • Confident in the use of technology.
  • Highly motivated and a servant heart.
