We are a Long Day Care centre providing quality care and Christian education in a nurturing environment. Our services include 3 Year Old Program, 4 Year Old Kinder Program, Before & After School Care, and Vacation Care Program.

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced educator to lead our School Aged Care program. As a Lead Educator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a play-based, child-directed educational program that focuses on the holistic development of each child. You will work closely with families to build strong relationships and provide a safe, Christian educational environment that promotes an enriched Early Years curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the educational program for the School Aged Care program
  • Lead a team of educators to deliver high-quality care and education
  • Build strong relationships with families and communicate effectively with them
  • Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children
  • Monitor and evaluate the program's effectiveness and make improvements as needed
Requirements
  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education or 50% towards completion
  • At least 1 year's experience in a lead role in a centre
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills
  • Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, CPR, and Asthma certification
  • Current paid Working with Children's Check
  • Experience and knowledge of NQF, NQS, and the EYLF
  • Confident in the use of technology
  • Highly motivated and a servant heart
