Student Support Officer

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Student Support Officer to provide essential support to students within our school community. This rewarding role plays a vital part in helping students achieve their full potential.

As a Student Support Officer, you will work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to implement Individual Plans (IPs) and adjust learning activities under teacher guidance. You will also provide one-on-one and small group support to students in literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with diverse learning needs, including disabilities, developmental delays, or behavioural challenges.
  • Implement IP's and adjust learning activities under teacher guidance.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students in literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Certificate III in Education Support or similar.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
  • NSW Working with Children Check and undertake a pre-employment National Police Check.
