We are seeking an Early Childhood Education Assistant to join our team at Stewart Street Community Preschool. As an assistant, you will work closely with experienced educators to support the development of young children aged 0-5.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and be committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow and learn. You will assist with daily activities, such as lesson planning, teaching, and supporting children's learning outcomes.

In this role, you will also contribute to the development of educational programs that promote children's physical, emotional, and cognitive growth. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve program goals and improve child outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or working towards it
  • No prior experience necessary, but a strong desire to learn and develop your skills
  • Ability to work full-time hours and maintain a flexible attitude to meet changing program needs
  • A valid working with children check for paid work in NSW
