Overview

Join to apply for the Assistant Educator role at Kiama World of Learning. This is a Full-Time position working 38 hours per week on a contract ending February 2026, with the possibility to extend. The centre caters for up to 39 children with operating hours from 7.30am to 6pm. We are looking for an enthusiastic educator to join a vibrant and supportive team, focused on creating engaging, nurturing environments where children thrive.

Responsibilities

Support the delivery of a high-quality early childhood program in line with EYLF and NQS. Collaborate with experienced professionals to support children aged 0–5 years. Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and fun workplace and support children's learning and wellbeing.

About You / Qualifications
  • An ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma Qualification in Children's Services
  • An understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Proven Educator experience within an Early Childhood service (0–5 years)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • First Aid certificate
