As a key member of our collections team, you will play a pivotal role in providing support to deliver greater cash flow, reduce bad debts, and align with our goals in reducing churn, risk, and re-work.

You will work within an assigned portfolio, maintaining the quality of actions on accounts in line with policies, procedures, industry codes of conduct, legislation, and other relevant laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximise collections and recovery strategies within assigned portfolios.
  • Diligently manage sensitive and challenging issues on customers' accounts to ensure positive outcomes.
  • Negotiate complex disputes with customers to mitigate exposure while achieving best outcomes.
  • Contribute to team cohesiveness and maintain a positive culture.

Your Profile:

  • Experience in fast-paced collections and recoveries environments.
  • Demonstrated background in successful debt collection, mercantile, and legal recoveries across various debt profiles.
  • Team player with empathy, negotiation skills, and decision-making abilities.
  • Able to prioritise and manage multiple accounts and tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
