Civil Maintenance Technician

Contribute to the efficient operation of civil maintenance and construction activities by working as a skilled Civil Maintenance Technician. This hands-on role involves delivering day-to-day operations and services for all road and related infrastructure assets.

The Transport Network Operations team provides high-level maintenance, construction, and asset management services. As a Civil Maintenance Technician, you will:

  • Carry out general construction and maintenance tasks, including concreting, kerb and channelling, stormwater drainage, roads, roadside assets, bridges, foreshores, and reserves removal and disposal of debris.
  • Meet obligations under the Workplace Health and Safety Act and the Environmental Protection Act.
  • Operate and maintain machinery & equipment according to manufacturer's recommendations.
  • Use, maintain, and replace personal protective equipment when necessary.

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated problem-solving and communication skills to work effectively in a high-performing team and complete tasks within set timeframes.
