Job Summary

Civil technicians play a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of road networks. This permanent position requires individuals to work on a day/night roster with availability for overtime or call out.

Key responsibilities include delivering civil maintenance works, cleaning duties throughout tunnels and facilities, inspections and maintenance on civil structures, vegetation and landscaping, painting maintenance, power washers, drainage maintenance, and assisting Incident Response/emergency authorities to address incidents and accidents occurring on the road network.

Requirements

  • A civil trade background, with demonstrated ability to conduct civil maintenance works, materials, test and monitor quality.
  • Physically fit, a good team player, and willing to learn new skills.
  • A clean driving license (highly desirable), construction white card, and basic understanding of Asset Management and Life Cycle Modelling are essential.
  • Desirable qualifications include AC/DC commercial licence, Traffic Management Implementation, First Aid and CPR, EWP ticket, Working at heights, Confined Space, and Lv1 Inspection Ticket.
  • Experience working on road networks is highly desirable.
