Job Title: IT Business Analyst

Tilray Medical, a leading global cannabis-lifestyle and consumer packaged goods company, is seeking an IT Business Analyst to join its team in Sydney, Australia. As a key member of the IT department, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the effectiveness of company applications and systems, ensuring compliance with GxP quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the implementation of Information Technologies projects, interfacing with production teams, analyzing operations, and documenting results and process flows.
  • Contribute to technical meetings to define Information Systems solutions, functional specifications, implementation plans, and resource allocation.
  • Primary responsibility will be the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of ERP Purchasing, Manufacturing, Finance, and Production modules for ERP systems throughout the enterprise.
  • Manage incident triage, resolution, and escalation for ERP issues.
  • Develop solutions, workflow charts, and diagrams, and prepare Information System specifications.
  • Collaborate with the IT and Finance team to maintain and improve Information Systems.
  • Communicate effectively with internal customers, collaborate with other department managers, and technical staff.
  • Maintain issues logs, release logs, and decision/approval logs.
  • Understand business unit workflows and leverage technology solutions to support them.
  • Manage requirements traceability information and track requirements status throughout Information System projects.
  • Provide business process improvement, ERP adoption, and training, and isolate and escalate application incidents and problems.
  • Support the e-commerce platform integrated with the ERP.
Qualifications and Education:
  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • At least 3+ years of direct work experience as a Business/Systems Analyst in an ERP environment.
  • Nav or Business Central administration/implementation experience.
  • Shopify management is a plus.
  • Proven ability with Microsoft Office365 applications, particularly Excel advanced functions.
  • Effective time management, task prioritization, and ability to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team, with a proven self-starter and highly motivated attitude.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and highly analytical aptitude.
  • Fluent in English oral and written.
