Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Regulatory Compliance Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Global Regulatory Team, you will play a critical role in supporting various business units and functions in the Australasia region.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with experience in regulatory compliance in a financial services or payments organization. You will be responsible for providing regulatory compliance support, reviewing and assessing new business projects, and ensuring adherence to company policy and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic regulatory compliance guidance to ensure ongoing compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain regulatory compliance policies and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective regulatory compliance controls.
  • Conduct thorough reviews and assessments of new business projects to identify potential regulatory risks.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of reporting obligations.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory compliance in a financial services or payments organization.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex regulatory concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate regulatory risks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a global team, with a strong focus on delivering results-oriented solutions.
