Job Overview

This role involves managing the processing and scanning of clinical documentation as a Health Records Scanning Officer.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately and efficiently complete tasks associated with scanning paper health record documentation into the system (preparing, scanning, indexing and review).
  • Ensure information on documents is correct once scanned into the system.
  • Work to volume of work and quality targets, ensuring they are met.
  • Contribute to the team by identifying inefficiencies and inaccuracies in processes associated with health record scanning and discuss with the Team Leader.
Requirements
  • Process-oriented person looking for a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment is highly desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data entry skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow policies and procedures.
  • Ability to complete repetitive tasks accurately at required volume and within timeframes.
  • Understanding of patient confidentiality.
  • Team player comfortable working autonomously when required.
