The role involves overseeing daily operations to deliver an exceptional customer experience, ensuring all customers have access to knowledgeable team members. This is achieved by effectively managing rosters and maintaining a high level of store presentation.
Key responsibilities include coaching and empowering the team to work safely, developing strategies for continuous improvement, and overseeing the development of the wider team with a focus on growing individual capabilities.
- Developing and implementing business growth strategies to increase sales and profit
- Managing inventory levels and visual merchandising displays
- Coaching and mentoring colleagues to improve their skills and knowledge
- Maintaining a safe working environment through regular risk assessments and audits
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in big box retail or a multi-site leadership role in a speciality retail environment. They will possess strong leadership skills, be able to coach and develop others, and have a proven track record of building service-focused teams.
