Design Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced Design Leader to drive strategic design decisions and manage our design team in a fast-paced industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the design process, leading collaboration sessions with key stakeholders, delivering and maintaining store design standards, and developing and maintaining design standards for all retail store elements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain the design process, leading collaboration sessions with key stakeholders
  • Deliver and maintain store design standards and developer briefs
  • Lead and develop the team to achieve great design outcomes, delivering designs and documentation within timeframes
  • Develop and maintain design standards for all retail store elements and across brands

Requirements:

  • Extensive leadership experience in retail design and development
  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • Strong understanding of design and construction concepts in retail, QSR, or Convenience sectors
  • Knowledge of cost implications of design and NCC/BCA, DDA, DA requirements and processes
  • Safe design practices and operational, safety, and security considerations
