Senior Systems Engineer

Talent International is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and support the company's core network environment, including Cisco routers, switches, and Juniper firewalls.
  • Assist in the migration to the cloud, leveraging AWS skills and experience with Terraform, Docker, and Hashicorp.
  • Provide Level 3 support and troubleshooting for Windows and Linux environments.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications coupled with relevant industry certifications (ITIL, MCP, AWS, Juniper etc).
  • Demonstrated Systems Administration / System Engineering experience.
  • Proven experience working within Financial Service environments.
  • Strong experience and knowledge of networking fundamentals (LAN / WAN, routing / switching, load balancers, firewalls etc).
  • Demonstrated experience supporting, troubleshooting and configuring Windows and Linux environments.
  • Solid exposure with AWS along with hands-on experience with either Terraform, Docker or Hashicorp.
  • Scripting experience using Powershell or Shell would be desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
  • Superior customer service and team work skills.
