Assistant Director, Enterprise Risk Management

We are seeking an accomplished Assistant Director of Risk Assurance to lead the development and implementation of comprehensive enterprise assurance strategies, methodologies, and processes across all assurance lines. Your efforts will ensure that organisational controls are both well-designed and effective.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a robust enterprise assurance strategy to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
- Design and implement processes to test end-to-end work-flows and controls, identifying and addressing deficiencies.
- Create and manage processes for correcting control deficiencies at the individual risk level.
- Deliver high-quality reporting on assurance program outcomes to senior management and governance committees.
- Present risk-related topics to senior management and governance committees, providing expert advice on the design and implementation of internal controls.
- Conduct in-depth reviews to assess control and treatment alignment, effectiveness, and progress.
- Develop an enterprise-wide Incident, Loss, and Breach management framework that integrates existing operational processes.
- Establish and maintain escalation, notification, and reporting standards and procedures.
- Extensive experience in senior risk management or assurance roles within large, complex organisations.
- A record in developing and maintaining Risk Management and Assurance frameworks and tools.
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting monitoring and assurance activities.
- Strong ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior management and key stakeholders.
- Proven ability to foster a culture of risk awareness across the organisation.
- A proactive starter, adaptable to evolving business needs.
- A relationship builder with a strong focus on driving results.
