Job Opportunity: AOD Clinician

  • We are seeking a skilled AOD Clinician to join our team at a 24/7 rehabilitation facility.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing opportunities for residents to identify and address risk-taking behavioral patterns and develop lifestyles of self-determined purpose.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing case management to a caseload of up to 15 residents
  • Developing treatment and intervention plans, aligning them with individual client goals
  • Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions and programs
  • Maintaining comprehensive client documentation and case notes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Youth Work, Mental Health, or other similar health discipline
  • Certificate IV in AOD or 4 AOD core competencies, or willingness to complete studies during employment within the first 6 months
  • Proven experience conducting assessments, case management, and development of client-centered treatment plans
  • Minimum of three years' experience working within the alcohol and drug sector, mental health, or other primary healthcare environment
