Job Title

A world-class model of care provides perinatal and infant mental health services to public and private consumers.

Exciting opportunities exist for registered psychologists in fixed term contracts, offering flexible work arrangements in inpatient and outpatient teams.

The inpatient unit provides acute assessment and treatment to mothers with significant mental illnesses and their babies under one year old.

The outpatient services offer a range of interventions in the perinatal period for birthing and non-birthing parents.

Delivering high-quality psychological assessment and evidence-based treatment across the perinatal period is a key responsibility.

  • Provide care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Support early parent-infant relationships through individual and dyadic interventions.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, including suicide and self-harm, domestic and family violence, and child protection concerns.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver trauma-informed care.
About You

Current general registration as a Psychologist with the relevant regulatory bodies is required.
