Catherine's House provides integrated, world-class models of care for infant and perinatal mental health.
- Inpatient services: Acute assessment and treatment for mothers with significant mental illnesses co-admitted with their baby under one year old.
- Outpatient services: A range of interventions during the perinatal period for birthing and non-birthing parents.
- Specialist consulting suites: Clinicians can lease rooms on a sessional basis as private practitioners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide treatment for infants and mothers experiencing perinatal mental health issues.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide education and support to families promoting positive mental health outcomes.
Requirements:
- Registration as a psychologist with a relevant professional body.
- Experience in perinatal and infant mental health or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
