Job Description

This position plays a pivotal role in driving the development and implementation of culturally sensitive perinatal mental health screening initiatives for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families.

You will work closely with stakeholders to enhance the capture and reporting of nationally consistent perinatal mental health data, conducting comprehensive assessments of existing screening processes across Queensland and identifying gaps and requirements statewide.

Using a robust project management framework, you will oversee planning, communication, and governance processes to drive effective project outcomes.

Your role will also involve developing a communication strategy, supporting professional education activities, and ensuring integration and alignment of perinatal mental health screening tools with data collection efforts.

In addition, you will play a vital role in policy development, providing expert advice, and contributing to strategic initiatives within the public health system.
