Position Overview
We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Mechanical Supervisor at our Port Hedland Facility. This position is residential and offers the chance to be part of a dynamic and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage teams, focusing on performance management, safety protocols, workflow oversight, task execution, and leadership development.
- Assist in the planning and organization of workshop activities to ensure timely job completion.
- Prepare and manage personnel schedules and timesheets.
- Engage with client representatives and Project Engineers on technical inquiries, inspections, project timelines, and delivery coordination.
- Conduct regular assessments of buildings and materials to ensure compliance with client specifications.
- Implement quality control measures and uphold company standards for Quality Assurance.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Recognized Australian Trade Qualification.
- White Card/Blue Card and a valid Driver's License.
- Schedule 26 Training/Section 44 certification.
- Demonstrated experience in a Fabrication or Assembly Workshop environment.
- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in a similar industry, preferably within the mining and oil and gas sectors.
- Proven expertise in project planning and resource management is advantageous.
