Cloud Solutions Architect

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team. This role involves designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions for our customers using Azure Data, Analytics & AI technologies.

This is a customer-facing position that requires strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Purview, or equivalent data warehousing technologies.

The successful candidate will help our customers architect and deploy first-class cloud infrastructure solutions in Azure and make them AI Ready by applying scalable best practices in the cloud.

Azure provides a comprehensive and flexible cloud platform that enables you to work with Australia's largest and most important public sector and commercial companies to drive customer cloud adoption for AI innovation and transformational customer change.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions aligned with Microsoft methodologies to support customer operational readiness and business goals.
  • Guide customers toward secure, resilient, AI-enabled, and optimized architectures to drive retention and expansion.
  • Collaborate with account teams to build consumption plans and provide feedback to improve delivery offerings.
  • Identify cross-solution opportunities and consult strategically to align technical solutions with customer outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Strong technical expertise in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 12+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting.
  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting.
  • 6+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
  • 6+ years experience working on technical projects.
  • Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).
