About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to provide care services to our clients in Tweed Heads.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent chance for someone with at least 3 months experience in a similar professional role to make a real difference in the lives of our clients, helping them to maintain their independence and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide home help services such as general housekeeping, cleaning, meal preparation, and grocery shopping
  • Provide personal care services such as getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed, assisting with medications, and mobility support
  • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia
  • Provide social and emotional support
  • Assist with transport to lifestyle activities or appointments

Your Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 3 months experience in a similar professional role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems
  • The ability to assist with medications and provide complex care for customers with high care needs
