Job Overview:

The role of Facilities Manager is a dynamic and challenging position that requires the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.

As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for delivering efficient and cost-effective facilities management services across a portfolio of properties. Your role will involve ensuring each property is compliant with relevant codes and standards, as well as managing maintenance schedules and risk management procedures.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Health Safety Environment (HSE) program and provide annual HSE inspections of each property
  • Work collaboratively with building management, supervisors, and contractors to resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Prepare and update the Annual Operations Expenditure (Opex) and Capital Expenditure (Capex) programme and budgets in conjunction with clients and other team members
  • Implement and maintain preventative maintenance schedules and risk management procedures/compliance, asset management, and other agreed premises management initiatives
  • Prepare a consolidated monthly report including client service requests, key issues, outcomes of tenancy inspections, project status, and project pipeline
  • Manage the energy savings program and maintain accurate data of system set points, timer clocks, and equipment usage
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years' experience in facilities management
  • Demonstrate a track record in managing fit-outs, refurbishments, and maintenance
  • Good understanding of financials, specifically budget preparation, managing portfolios to a budget, fulfilling reporting requirements, project-related financial management
  • Ability to communicate at all levels and build effective relationships with clients and colleagues; Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Logical and analytical thought processes and good problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of current health and safety legislation
  • Intermediate to advanced level in core Microsoft packages – particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
