We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Tax Policy Consultant, working within the Tax Controversy department in Perth.

This is a flexible full-time position that offers variety and challenges. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for advising clients on a wide range of tax matters, focusing on technical and tactical management of all aspects of taxation.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing advice to various clients, from large corporations to high-net-worth individuals, helping them develop and document their tax governance processes and assess the operational effectiveness of their tax framework.
  • Researching matters of tax administration, participating in dispute resolution processes, and assisting clients in responding to requests for information during ATO reviews and audits.
  • Drafting objections, private binding ruling requests, requests for amended assessments, and submissions against penalties.

To succeed in this role, you will need:
