High Risk Team Officer

As a High Risk Team Officer, you will play a critical role in supporting victims of domestic and family violence in Queensland. You will be part of a statewide team that works together to improve the safety and wellbeing of victims.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in High Risk Teams to assess and respond to high-risk situations, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of victims.
- Provide trauma-informed support to victims, including financial assistance and referrals to other services.
- Build relationships with government and non-government agencies to develop awareness about services offered by Victim Assist and how clients can access assistance.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve services for victims of domestic and family violence.
- Participate in stakeholder networks and meetings to promote the effective work of High Risk Teams.
- Detailed knowledge of domestic and family violence dynamics, relevant legislation, and guidelines.
- Ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Capacity to work collaboratively with government and non-government agencies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
