The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Expression of Interest for a talented Project Coordinator.
The Project Coordinator holds a critical role in overseeing and managing the execution of a sustainment project within Defence.
This role demands a deep understanding of Defence systems, technologies, and operations, coupled with strong leadership and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direction and leadership, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of the sustainment project, ensuring efficient resource allocation, risk mitigation, and milestone achievement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and integration of program components.
- Draft and contribute to all Commonwealth required document deliverables.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and successes to internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Monitor project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiencies within project management.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred but not essential.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in defence project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
- Deep understanding of defence systems, technologies, and industry regulations.
- Familiarity with government contracts and acquisition processes.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
