Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tour Guide professional at the APS2 level to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and educational experiences to visitors from all over the world.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide face-to-face interactions with visitors, including delivering informative information and responding to inquiries.
  • Develop and deliver engaging education programs and guided walking tours for visitors, including schools and the general public.
  • Assist in the operation of our facilities, including opening and closing procedures and administrative tasks.
  • Support management in various capacities, including administrative assistance and general support.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development activities to enhance knowledge of tours and tour guiding skills.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Must undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a customer service environment is highly desirable.
  • Ability to perform regular presentations of 60-minute intervals or longer.
  • A sound working knowledge of IT systems, including MS Office, is highly desirable.
  • Must be able to gain and maintain a security classification of Baseline.
  • Must be able to gain and maintain an ACT Working with Vulnerable People Registration and First Aid Certificate.
