We are seeking to fill the role of Coordinator, Exhibitions & Volunteers APS 5 on an ongoing basis.

As part of the Coordinator, Exhibitions and Volunteers role you will work across the Library’s exhibitions program including the external loans program, gallery space and volunteer tour guides.

To be successful in this role you will be able to work under limited direction and will assist in the development, delivery and maintenance of exhibitions. This may include research for exhibition proposals, drafting of text for use in exhibitions and media as well as assisting in the maintenance and cleaning of exhibition spaces.

The Coordinator, Exhibitions and Volunteers will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the Library’s volunteer guides and Library tours, as well as managing volunteer resources for the Branch and other areas as needed.
You will be able to undertake complex administrative tasks including support of the Library’s external loans program as well as assisting in budgeting, purchase and payment of suppliers.

As the Coordinator, Exhibitions & Volunteers you will liaise with internal and external stakeholders on operational issues associated with the delivery of the function. You will be able provide sound advice and recommendations which influence the decisions made by others as well as making decisions using in depth knowledge and professional judgment. You will also be an effective communicator who will represent the section at meetings, conferences and/or seminars as required.
