Fire Suppression Specialist

As a Fire Suppression Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation and servicing of fire suppression systems as well as providing technical support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out repairs, maintenance and fault diagnostic work on fixed plant and/or mobile equipment
  • Perform repair and fault finding using hydraulic and/or electrical schematics
  • Provide relevant feedback to enable maintenance planning improvements in terms of efficiency and equipment integrity
  • Commission new units
  • Ensure adherence to Mines Regulation for all work performed
  • Complete all paperwork in a timely and accurate fashion
  • Prepare for underground work
  • Record and report warranty claims according to SMCs policies
  • Liaise with stakeholders on claim progress
