Fire Protection Specialist

We are seeking a Fire Protection Specialist to join our team based in Adelaide. As a Fire Protection Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our customers by testing and maintaining fire protection systems on customer premises.

The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on providing high-quality customer service and experience in the fire industry. You will also need to be organised, able to plan your workload and demonstrate initiative where needed to get the work done in a timely manner.

  • Liaise with customers on testing schedules and training needs, providing assistance if needed.
  • Inspect, test and maintain fire alarm and emergency/exit lighting systems and mechanical systems including sprinklers and associated equipment.
  • Identify defects, service requirements and provide quotes where applicable.
  • Participate in stock takes and inventory management.
  • Complete other tasks as required from time to time.
Requirements:
  • Hold a current Driver's Licence.
  • A construction industry white card (or the ability to obtain one).
  • An appreciation of excellent customer service and the ability to communicate with clients on site.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrate efficiency through prior time and route planning.
  • Electrical and Mechanical ability, experience with sprinkler and fire alarm systems.
  • Be able to prepare written reports and quotations where required.
  • Be a proactive member of the team.
  • FPOS or Certificate II in Fire Protection is preferred or willing to obtain with in-house training.
