About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Clinical Research Associate to join our team at ICON Plc. As a key member of our clinical research team, you will be responsible for leading the execution of clinical trials and ensuring the highest level of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of clinical trials to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and implement effective monitoring strategies to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including study managers, data managers, and biostatisticians, to ensure seamless trial execution.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with trial execution, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including site staff, investigators, and sponsors.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in clinical research, with a strong background in monitoring and site management.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, including ICH-GCP and local regulations.
  • Ability to travel for monitoring visits and other business-related activities.
