We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Research Nurse to join our team at the Telethon Institute for Child Health Research. As a key member of our Clinical Research Team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care in the context of research studies.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical support and assistance to participants and caregivers in the context of research studies.
- Collect and handle biological samples in accordance with established protocols.
- Submit study documentation and reports to the Human Research Ethics Committee as required.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Research Team to manage a diverse range of studies in the field of diabetes management.
- Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- Hospital-based clinical experience.
- Self-directed in the provision of patient/participant care.
- Knowledge of ethical issues relating to the conduct of research involving human participants.
- Experience in a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility in working hours, including shift work.
