We are seeking a skilled Accounting Professional to join our Finance team in Adelaide. This is a permanent role with hybrid work arrangements, offering the perfect balance of flexibility and collaboration.

About the Role

  • Review and investigate Business Unit P&L and associated warehouse-to-store balance sheet accounts, providing timely insights and recommendations.
  • Perform month-end reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness, with a clear description of outstanding items and supporting documentation.
  • Develop and implement financial controls, reviewing and updating them regularly to ensure compliance with accounting policies and standards.
  • Drive initiatives for process improvement, collaborating with stakeholders to identify areas for enhancement and implementing changes to optimize efficiency.

Your Background

  • Hold a CA or CPA qualification, or be working towards it, coupled with 1+ years' relevant experience (retail/large corporate an advantage).
  • Demonstrate intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, v-lookups, and macros, as well as enthusiasm for learning new systems such as SAP, GCP, and BPC.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills, able to convey complex financial information to a broad audience, with excellent presentation and storyboarding abilities.
  • Showcase your ability to synthesise large amounts of data from various sources, making informed decisions and recommendations.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and resilience in a dynamic environment, prioritising tasks effectively and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
