Key Role: Shift Operations Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Operations Manager to lead our operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that safety, quality, and customer service are consistently met.

Job Description
  • To lead a shift operations team, ensuring that all activities comply with current legislation and regulations as well as organisational policies and procedures.
  • To ensure the plant assets are operating as they should be regarding established operational parameters and quality standards.
  • To supervise people, process, and plant equipment across the sugar mill, boiler, and refinery production.
  • To manage daily schedule, labour management, key performance indicators, and plant effectiveness.
  • To analyse and interpret operational performance data, take corrective action, and improve or suggest improvements to the operation to ensure the plant is operated safely and efficiently.
Requirements

We are looking for someone with suitable tertiary qualifications (Business, Logistics, Engineering, Chemical or Industrial Chemistry) or experience in supervision in a manufacturing FMCG industrial process servicing customers. Experience in managing safety, quality, food safety desirable. Ideally you will have experience working on rotating shift structure.
